This is a Special Order book which has to be individually ordered from the Institute of Jesuit Sources in St Louis, USA. It may take up to a month to arrive. If you are shopping from the US it may be quicker and cheaper to order directly from the IJS (https://www.jesuitsources.com/)

Thomas M. McCoog SJ (ed), The Mercurian Project: Forming Jesuit Culture 1573-1580

This book is the outcome of a wide-ranging research project on the life, governance and administration of the fourth general of the Society of Jesus, Everard Mercurian. Mercurian was the first non-Spanish General, and his relatively short generalate saw the expansion of the Society all over the world. The Mercurian Project contains articles by nearly thirty scholars from eleven countries, whose collaboration has produced an impressive and comprehensive account of a comparatively neglected period in Jesuit history.

N.B. This book is shipped directly from the publishers, and the price has been adjusted to bring postage and packing costs into line with our other products.
